is situated in Upper Green, Inkpen in West Berkshire, close to the village pond with lovely open fields behind and views stretching up to the Gibbet at the top of Walbury Hill.
100th year celebration
Sunday 29th September 2024
Almost 200 people attended our quintessential English celebration to mark 100 years of the Inkpen Village Hall, and it was a roaring success!
To commemorate this milestone, we hosted an afternoon filled with indulgence and nostalgia. Guests enjoyed a delightful vintage high tea, complete with delicious finger sandwiches, scones, and sweet treats. But that wasn’t all… Our outdoor Beer Marquee was bustling with energy, serving a selection of local ales and snacks.
A huge thank you to those who volunteered at the bar and to the talented local acoustic musicians—both young and old—who performed and added to the wonderful atmosphere. We provided cover, a mic, and an amp, creating the perfect setup for their performances.
With the weather on our side, children enjoyed outdoor games, and the whole event was a truly special occasion for all. Thank you to everyone who came and helped make this celebration so memorable!​​
